Placing an order on ArtSmiley is a very simple four step process.
Step 1: Click on the "Add to Cart" button/Icon next to any work you like. The artworks will then be added to the cart.
Step 2: Prior to check out please login using your credentials, if you don’t have login details please register as customer / buyer.
Step 3: Click on "View Cart" button when you are ready to make the payment. Cross verify the details like shipping, Billing Address, Phone number etc., without these details you will not able to place the order. If these details are incorrect go back to your account and update them.
Step 4: Click on "Proceed to Paypal" to make the payment (you can use your credit card if you don’t have a Paypal account). You will be directed to the payment gateway, where you will be directed to enter your card / bank details and make the payment.
An Authenticity Certificate is a certificate of authority by the artist. This confirms that the artwork is a legitimate and unique piece of art by the artist. We at ArtSmiley ensure that all artworks sold at our community are authentic and original.
The heart sign indicates wish list. It allows you to add artworks to your wish list. Through a wish list, you have the option to keep a list of your favorite works online so you don't have to search for them again when you come online next.
A coupon code is just a code that will enable discounts. If you have a coupon code, use the code while checking out at the cart and avail a discount.
A gift card is a card that has pre-loaded value ($), which you can be used to buy art works at ArtSmiley online portal. Yes, We will provide framing services for our UAE based customers only due to logistics issues. Framing options provided at the product details page. Everybody has their own taste when it comes to frames, if you don’t find the frame you required you can write back to email@example.com . For outside UAE, we will ship all art works in a roll / tube.

No, you can choose when uploading your art what trading options you are open to. Although as our mission is to make art more accessible to all, we strongly encourage artists to open for new ways to capitalize and distribute their art.
We encourage artists to upload any kind of hand painted art, drawings, although as a UAE based company we will not expose any nude art or objectionable religious arts, we request you to not to upload this kind of work, as we won’t be accepted.

Once you register yourself as an Artist you can upload the images of your artworks in the web community, our professional curators will then check the art and analyse if it meets the quality and compliance requirements. After the clearance from curators the artworks will be published for sale in the website. When any painting of yours is purchased by a customer we will inform you and arrange the pickup from your home. Once painting reaches our premises we will do a quality check, frame it (in case purchased by the customer) and deliver to the customer.
Payment to artists will be processed to their registered bank account after 15 days of receipt of the paintings at customer.
You (artist himself)! Once uploading the painting you can chose the prices you want for your painting for each option - sell, rent and print. This price will be analysed by our curator who will then accept or reject your works. At our discretion we may contact and advice on the pricing based on our experience and market standards in order to align the value.
On top of the artist price, we will add our commission approximately 40% which includes the cost of art smiley overheads like marketing cost, local UAE taxes, payment gate way charges, salaries to employees etc., in addition to this we will also add logistics cost. Make sure to upload the value you want to have in hand without any additional cost or commissions.
Yes, the packing of the painting is your responsibility and should be done in a way that will protect the painting from damage during the transport. We encourage you to use rolled tube or pipes including bubble wrap to make sure free from damages.
Yes, you can sell framed paintings. However keep in view of the logistics costs, possibility of transport damages; we will prefer paintings as rolled canvas.
